- Never contactable again.
- Contactable again later, or now with a different email.
Where to find it
Shown in the review as contacts held by the 7-day rule.
How to do it
- Prepare a review of your campaign.
- Read how many contacts are held by the 7-day rule.
- Either wait, or change the email itself — a different email can go out immediately.
What to expect
- The rule looks at the email you are sending, not at the person. A new message is not blocked by an old one.
- Tracking links and the unsubscribe footer are ignored when comparing, so a resend of the same message is still recognised.
- Being contacted before is never a permanent exclusion.
If it blocks you
Most of your audience is held back and the plan looks tiny.
You are sending the same message again. Wait out the 7 days, write a different email, or select other lists.
How it flows
- Same email
- Sent within 7 days
- Held back
- Contactable again
Duplicates
Inside one campaign, the same address is only ever used once, however many selected lists contain it.
